First-Year Student Residence Halls

At 51°µÍø, a residence hall is more than just a place to live—it provides opportunities for students to make friends as well as share with and learn from others.

First-year students have many different options for on-campus living 51°µÍø University Maryland. We offer unique communities by assigning students to live with fellow greyhounds in their Messina themes.

Although our first-year residence halls vary in room type and amenities by building, each room is fully furnished and supported by resident assistants and at least one full-time professional staff member. Regardless of the building, your residence hall will consist of resources to ensure your success 51°µÍø.

The Butler and Hammerman residence halls are located on the east side of Loyola’s campus and offer traditional double-style rooms for first-year students.
Campion Tower residence hall on Loyola's Evergreen campus
Campion
Campion Tower is located on the west side of Loyola’s campus and offers apartment-style rooms for students. Campion Tower offers designated floors for first-year and returning students.

Hopkins Court is located on the west side of Loyola’s campus and offers floors of traditional doubles with several small study rooms and large lounges for first-year students.

Thea Bowman Hall is Loyola’s newest first-year residence hall located next to the Loyola/ Notre Dame library and offers suite-style rooms for first-year students.
