Engineer Students in the Classroom

American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME)

Join for all things mechanical! This club is connected to the official national professional society. Student membership is a great way to connect and expand your networks, on- and off-campus. 

Students working on computerRobotics Club

The mission of the Robotics Club is to encourage students and faculty to discuss, prototype, and test robots that they choose to create on their own and with others. Students also participate in robotic competitions.

 

International Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)

All things electrical and connected to the official national professional society. Student membership is a great way to connect and expand your networks on- and off-campus. 

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

A broad affinity group to promote understanding and expansion of profession skills and success in engineering careers for all.

Other Clubs & Activities 

Drone Club

All things flying. Build and fly various remote-controlled systems.

Women in Technology (WIT)

Another affiliation group that is somewhat broader than SWE and has members across physics, computer science, data science, math and engineering.  Open to all.

Let's Share the Sun

A new venture about all things solar and sustainable energy as well as a campus delegation which will travel to help the non-profit, Let’s Share the Sun, in its solar installation work in Puerto Rico.

Volunteers for Medican Engineering

A Maryland powerhouse non-profit for senior design or other projects.  Help make modified bikes and trikes for individual customers and other projects in assistive technologies.
