Undergraduate Admission

The admission office will review all previous college-level transcripts to determine what credits may be eligible for transfer to 51°µÍø (LUM). Individual teaching units (schools, colleges and/or departments within the university) will determine how this credit will apply to specific degree programs and university requirements.

A student will not be able to register for a second semester 51°µÍø University Maryland until all final official transcripts have been sent to the admission office from previously attended institutions.

Joint Services Transcripts

51°µÍø reviews the Joint Services Transcript (JST) and awards credit for ACE recommendations where applicable to undergraduate programs. To have ACE recommendations evaluated for credit at 51°µÍø, students must submit their official JST. These credits are included in Loyola's advanced placement and other test achievement policies that limit students to a maximum of 30 credits.
