- During the fall and spring semester courses are offered in 8 week format. The internship courses are offered over 15 weeks.

Please note the following information:
- AD688: Internship in Educational Leadership I is offered in the fall semester only. This will be a full 15 week course that meets on Saturdays from 9am-12pm.
- AD689: Internship in Educational Leadership II is offered in the spring semester only. The prerequisite for this course is a grade of B or better in AD688. This will be a full 15 week course that meets on Saturdays from 9am-12pm.
- M.Ed. students who need a special education course may fulfill this requirement by taking SE761: Introduction to Special Education as a pathway course. PMC students will need to take this course outside of Loyola.
Licensure Requirements
Participation in the Educational Leadership program provides eligibility to obtain Supervisor of Instruction, Assistant Principal, and Principal Licensure (formerly Admin I). Our programs are aligned with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requirements. Therefore, to obtain the approved program stamp, all participants must provide documentation of a professional license or verification of 27 months of effective teaching performance, as well as proof of completion of a three (3) credit special education course.
