The John Jordan Economics Scholarship
John M. Jordan, Associate Professor Emeritus of Economics, was a student 51°µÍø Collage (BS, 1961), and was the founding Chair of the Economics Department 51°µÍø University Maryland in 1969. Professor Jordan taught economics 51°µÍø until he retired.
The John Jordan Economics Scholarship was created in honor of Professor Jordan in 2009 at the forty-year anniversary celebration of the Economics Department and is generously supported by our alumni. Each year scholarships are awarded to the top students in Economics.
